Ingredients
- -1 banana, previously peeled, sliced, and frozen
- -½ cup fresh or frozen mango
- -½ cup fresh or frozen pineapple
- -½ Tbsp fresh ginger (1 small knob)
- -½ Tbsp fresh turmeric (or ¼ tsp ground turmeric)
- -½ cup fresh carrot juice
- -1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
- -Garnishes: 2 kiwis (peeled and diced), 2 Tbsp goji berries, 2 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut.
Instructions
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more almond milk if the mixture needs to be thinned.
- 2. Serve in a bowl and garnish with kiwi, goji berries, and coconut.
Notes
- Please note that most pregnant women are advised not to take herbal supplements of turmeric for their effect on pregnancy has not been examined. Turmeric in food is completely fine but I would not advise you to take it in supplement form.
